Being the pearl of the Indian Ocean what do you guess Sri Lanka has the most? Yes! Sri Lanka is surrounded with many beautiful beaches where the Indian Ocean hits the island with a rhyming melody.
If you love the beach and would do anything to spend some relaxing time at a place where the horizon looks like the path to heaven, this is the tour you have been looking for.
We shall pick you up from Negombo and start our journey by reaching Bentota. Bentota is a popular beach located in the down south of the country and will provide you with the best of the views of the ocean along with some other very important sites. The Brief Garden and the turtle hatchery are two very important places that you definitely should not miss out. You will get the opportunity to enjoy your day at Bentota and stay in an ocean view hotel at the first night.
On the second day, after breakfast from the hotel, you will be visiting Kosgoda and unawatuna. Kosgoda is famous among both local and international tourists for the turtle hatchery where millions of turtle babies are hatched and escaped to the ocean. This turtle conservation project is a part of the save the ocean projects that are being held within Sri Lanka, because this island understands the value of the light blue veil that is smoothly covering her. If you want to have some fun and enjoy the ocean and maybe take a sun bath, the evening is all yours. Unawatuna is an extremely popular beach given its availability of coral reefs and the naturally safe bathing area. You will definitely love the spot at once! After enjoying the beach and the ocean as much as you want, you can get a well – deserved rest at the famous hotels in Unawatuna for the night.
A trip to London without visiting London Eye would be extremely stupid. So is a trip to the down south beaches without visiting the ancient city of Galle. Hence the third and the last day of the trip will be an amazing visit to Galle. In this city you will see how the invasions of the European countries affected the culture and specially the architecture that was inherent to the country. The Galle Dutch fort is still a very famous tourist attraction that will definitely remind you a walk through the ancient cities of the country. Most of the buildings in the fort are still preserved with the original quality with no harm done to the look that it had a hundred of years ago. Hence, this is definitely a place that you would love to see as the final place. After the visit through the streets of Galle we will escort you back to Negombo.
